Original Bathroom Towel Sets

Today I am featuring some brand new bathroom towel designs. If you are restyling your bathroom or looking for a way to add more style to the overall impression of your bathroom in an easy way, this might be just for you. The impact of colors on the atmosphere can not be emphasized enough. So as I was working on striped designs, I created a series of designs in a variety of colors. I’m starting with a turquoise green and brown design.

A beautiful beach inspired color combination.
The next design is inspired by the warm and vibrant colors of autumn leaves:

The next one shows a black and grey design:

As you can see, all designs have tiny rose gold lines to add some chic 🙂
Take a look at the entire collection to see all available color combinations.
Of course you can also transfer the patterns to any other product that Zazzle offers, from the product pages. For instance bath mats or shower curtains …

The flow: new design collection -outfit -homestyling -electronics

Are you looking for an original design style for your outfit that is still affordable? I’ve created a unique collection with an abstract flow wave design in dreamy shades of green with happy light sparkles. You can place the design on any product available at Zazzle as the pattern can be tiled. Some examples:

And for him:

Also nice on a scarf or tank top for instance.
Or: for home styling products:

And you can also place this design on a phone or laptop case:

Tiles for kitchen or bathroom in Indian colors

When thinking of India or Mexico or some other countries, warm and abundant use of colors come to mind. Today I am sharing some new tile designs with happy colors. They are also inspired by the Mediterranean style of tiling, as they have a geometric pattern, but with a different color scheme.

Since the patterns are very busy and the colors so vibrant, you may want to alternate with plain colored tiles to create your desired effect.

And the last one for today:

You can find more similar tiles in the colorful tile collection or you can visit the tile page with links to several tile collections in different colors.

Create a unique atmosphere with lighting

When choosing lighting for your office, child’s room or your living room, it is important to give some thought into what kind of atmosphere you are looking for. During daytime a lamp will have a different effect than when you light it in the evening. In the evening it will “pop” more and have more impact. For an office you might like a more cool light, which makes blue colors a good choice. That will also help you to stay awake. In your kid’s room, you may like a more soothing atmosphere and pastel colors will work better. In a living room pastels can give a romantic and feel-good atmosphere. However, if you’re a single man, that might not be what you’re after: a more neutral color choice will be more effective for you.
I’ve created quite a few new lamps, and I will showcase just a few here today. You can choose whether you want a tripod or standing lamp. To begin, a lamp with a beach scene with dunes. Very relaxing for a bed room:

Then an elegant pastel design lamp with stripes in different peach, chocolate and cream colors:

And a gorgeous lamp featuring a cat family on a marble design background. Needless to say: great for any cat lover, and will also be beautiful for a kid’s room:

You can see more lamps in the collection.

Designer Kitchen and Bathroom Tiles

Are you planning a new kitchen or bathroom or do you want to add a new touch to your existing space? Today I am featuring some new tile ideas. With your choice of tiles you can completely change the atmosphere. I’ve created several collections of geometric tile designs, which you can combine to create a colorful and stylish outlook. You can find them on the website. But today I am showing some new designs that can be used as “one of a kind”. By surrounding them with uni-colored tiles you can create your own style. The first tile I would like to show you is a landscape design tile, featuring a mountain range with some trees at sunset. The blue colors are especially relaxing. Great to dream away while soaking in the bath 🙂

And then a tile with a painting of Dutch artist Cornelis Verbeeck. I’ve restyled this painting to give it the look of Delft blue design:

Create a warm farmhouse style with roosters

Today I am sharing a new design with roosters and you’ll see some examples on how to use it to create a warm and cozy atmosphere in your home. Although traditionally a turkey is the favorite Thanksgiving bird, the style of this rooster design fits remarkably well in a festive Thanksgiving environment. The first example is a coffee mug. I added as texts the famous “Rise ‘n Shine”, but you can (as always on Zazzle) change that to any other text you prefer. And did you know that coffee tastes really great if you add some cayenne pepper with cardamom?

Which brings me to a binder for your favorite recipes (or other purposes):

You may also like this monogrammed phone case (fits on many different types of phone):

If you like, you can take a look at the products I already made with this rooster design.

Smell the Roses – fine art design gifts

It’s been a while, but I made a new painting in the series of floating flowers, this time with a slightly different painting technique. And you can now also find this art on products for your home or gifts. The first one is a pillow:

Of course you can transfer the painting to any other product that Zazzle offers on which it fits, but I added two more to help you get started: a floating flowers tote bag with your custom monogram (optional, or add other texts if you like):

And a wine label! I made it to give to your mother in law, but you can also customize it for any other occasion:

A big cheers to you!

Celebrating fall with a magical forest painting

Fall has such an abundance in beautiful colors and then, the forest is really a magical place. So I combined these two and made a new painting. Of course the curious cat Knor (“K” pronounced as in “kitchen”; the word “Knor” stands for the inner light and loving spirit of the cat beings) could not help herself and managed to sneak in 🙂 Some people do have that special bond with their kitty and it’s always precious. In this case Knor is following the romantic couple in love, that is walking in a warm embrace a bit further down the forest path.

Walking the Cat - romantic fine art forest painting

I’ve previously painted some works with a similar theme that you may like. A girl with her knor in the forest:

And another one, a restyling of a painting of Russian artist Ivan Shishkin featuring a couple in a rainy forest:

Postcard inspiration

Postcards are so much fun! Not just to let someone know you are thinking about them, or to announce a new address or to congratulate them with their birthday (see how many things postcards are great for?) … but also to frame in your home. A small piece of art to add joy and color to your space (after removing the texts):

This one is a nice for a child’s room:

And this one would work well for an office space of someone who loves to sail:

And as the costs don’t break the bank, it’s easy to replace them when you are ready for a new style or design.
Try hanging a few of them together to add atmosphere!

A totally different use is to create a mood board. You can use mood boards to make a visual representation of what you would like in your life. You can cut out elements of postcards to make a collage or you can hang a couple of postcards together in a frame … just ideas to get your creative flow going! 🙂

Blue Jeans as base for modern design

A classic blue jeans is an eternal inspiration for designers. I’ve used it to create a cheerful pattern in the colors of the American flag. Pretty on clothing as well as gifts or for home decor. I’m starting with a tote bag, great for shopping groceries as well as for a day in town:

As you can see, this pattern is also inspired by patchwork and quilting traditions.
This tie can be worn casually classic with jeans:

And you may also enjoy it in a living room as pillow:

You can also take a look at the entire collection as I’ve created several more products with this pattern. If you don’t see it on a product that you would like, you can transfer the design to your product of choice (if available on Zazzle).
